As Mayflower has grown and developed in the past, the next few years will see new major works, $16,000,000 in development will be undertaken to continue and to improve the high quality of life and care for residence.

A new, three-level home will be built next to the new wing opened in 2003. The new building will enable greater opportunity for ageing-in-place so residents can stay in familiar surroundings even if they require higher levels of care. All services such as café, hairdresser, administration, dining and recreation will be located within the building, allowing easier access.

Each level will have dining, lounge and quiet areas of a more homely size, where residents can be alone or mix with other residents, family and friends.
