New Reservoir Aged Care Facility Takes Shape

It is no secret we have been working on a very important project – a brand new and state-of-the-art aged care facility for Mayflower Reservoir. The first stage of the new aged care home is nearing completion.

We couldn’t wait to show you how far the new building has come.

The brand-new two-storey home will have a dementia-friendly environment, four courtyards, a warm and modern décor, and will grow to have ample space for 110 residents.

The state-of-the-art facility has been purpose built to cater needs of people living with dementia or other cognitive impairment, and will feature five households of 22 residents – giving them their own private spaces.

Importantly, the new building is being built in two stages, so that existing residents can continue to live at Mayflower Reservoir while building takes place. And they are all super excited about moving into their new rooms later this year.
