Endorsed Enrolled Nurse

About the Role

Reporting to the Care Manager, the Endorsed Enrolled Nurse plays a key role in delivering high-quality clinical and personal care to residents while supporting Registered Nurses and providing guidance to Personal Care Assistants.

We are seeking people who can work on Mondays and Fridays each week. This is a permanent part time position.

You will work closely with residents, families and the broader care team to ensure residents receive care that promotes independence, wellbeing and quality of life. You will also contribute to care planning, medication management and clinical documentation while maintaining compliance with aged care standards and legislation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver safe, effective and person-centred nursing care.
  • Administer medications within scope of practice and organisational policies.
  • Monitor resident health and wellbeing and report changes appropriately.
  • Assist with the development, implementation and review of care plans.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and reporting.
  • Support residents to achieve their goals and maintain independence.
  • Provide guidance and support to Personal Care Assistants.
  • Work collaboratively with Registered Nurses, medical practitioners, allied health professionals and families.
  • Contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards and organisational policies.

About You

You are a caring and motivated nursing professional who enjoys building meaningful relationships and making a positive impact on the lives of older people.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Current AHPRA registration as an Endorsed Enrolled Nurse.
  • Strong clinical and assessment skills and medical endorsement.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team with strong organisational and time management skills
  • Understanding of person-centred care principles.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality resident outcomes.

Essential Requirements

  • Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse (Medication Endorsed).
  • Ability to work across a rotating roster with an emphasis on Monday and Friday shifts.

Desirable

  • Previous experience in Residential Aged Care.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards.
  • Experience using electronic clinical management systems.

Chef Reservoir (Part-Time)

Mayflower is seeking a qualified and motivated Chef to join our team at our Reservoir facility.

We are currently offering two part-time opportunities:

About the Role

As a Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and delivering high-quality, nutritious meals for residents, ensuring food is well-presented and meets individual dietary requirements.

You will work as part of a supportive team, contributing to the smooth operation of kitchen services within a residential aged care environment.

This role offers the opportunity to work with menus inspired by fresh, homestyle Italian and Greek cuisine—perfect for a chef with a genuine passion for Mediterranean flavours.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook meals in accordance with menu plans and dietary requirements
  • Ensure meals are delivered to a high standard of quality and presentation
  • Maintain food safety and hygiene standards in line with the Food Safety Plan
  • Monitor stock levels and maintain kitchen supplies
  • Support and supervise Food Services Assistants
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organised kitchen environment

About You

You are a reliable and experienced chef who takes pride in delivering quality meals and working as part of a team.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Experience as a Chef or Cook in a commercial kitchen
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and organisational skills

Mandatory Requirements

  • Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or Hospitality Management
  • Current Police Check
  • Full COVID vaccination

Desirable

  • Experience in aged care or a health setting
  • Knowledge of accreditation and compliance requirements

Work Placement

Mayflower supports the growth of a top-tier Aged Care workforce by partnering with Education Providers to offer essential training for students. Our Homes at Brighton, Reservoir, and Pascoe Vale accommodate students from various courses, including Nursing, Ageing Support, and Allied Health.
