About the Role

The Manicurist provides gentle, hygienic hand and nail care services to Mayflower Residents at Reservoir. The role focuses on comfort, safety, infection control, and enhancing residents’ wellbeing through grooming, conversation, and respectful personal care.

This position is one day per week, ideally on a Monday.

About You

You are a caring and skilled professional who enjoys connecting with people and delivering high quality service. You will play an important part in building meaningful relationships with residents.

You will bring:

  • Certificate III in Nail Technology or Beauty Therapy
  • Experience providing manicure, nail care or beauty services, ideally within a health, community or aged care setting.
  • Knowledge of infection prevention and hygiene practices
  • A warm, patient, and respectful approach with older clients

About the role

As a digital and data leader, you will drive the organisation's digital transformation agenda, leveraging data, technology, and innovation to improve operational efficiency and enhance resident outcomes.

Reporting to the EGM Projects and Transformation, you will:

  • Lead the development and delivery of Mayflower's digital transformation roadmap
  • Work across a multi-system environment spanning finance, clinical and operational platforms
  • Play a key role in improving resident outcomes through data, insights and technology
  • Build digital and data capability from the ground up
  • Influence decision-making at both executive and operational levels
  • Translate data into meaningful recommendations that drive strategic and operational outcomes
  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of digital initiatives, from business case development through to implementation and post-implementation review
  • Oversee the implementation and integration of digital systems, ensuring they are fit-for-purpose and user-centric
  • Drive data literacy and digital adoption through targeted training, engagement and change management
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to deliver scalable, sustainable solutions

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field
  • 5 years' experience in digital transformation, analytics, or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of data analytics, visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau), and digital platforms
  • Experience working with cloud technologies (e.g. Azure, Google Cloud)
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable business insights
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Experience driving change and embedding new technologies across an organisation

Work Placement

Mayflower supports the growth of a top-tier Aged Care workforce by partnering with Education Providers to offer essential training for students. Our Homes at Brighton, Reservoir, and Pascoe Vale accommodate students from various courses, including Nursing, Ageing Support, and Allied Health.
