Residents & Their Families

Hear what Mayflower residents have to say

Mayflower is an outstanding care facility. My mother has been a resident since Jan 2023 and we are so glad we decided to choose Mayflower. The residents are well cared for. They always look well kept, they are treated with respect and staff are aware of each person's needs and requests. In Lodden, Susan the head nurse sets a wonderful example for her staff. She treats residents like they are part of her family. She goes over and above her duties and keeps family members informed of any issues. Also, Helen the lifestyle coordinator always aims to provide some fun activities and entertainment that the residents love. Overall all staff are wonderful. The facility is always clean and inviting. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for their loved ones.

My family & I want to sincerely thank Sue, all the nurses and caregivers for the wonderful care they gave to my beautiful mother. The staff are fantastic at tending to the vast needs of all the different residents, it’s incredibly difficult but Sue & the staff do it with love & respect!!!! My mother loved Sue very much & Sue loved her, as Sue truly loves all her patients. We need to thank all the wonderful souls whom we trust in their care.

Mayflower is the only place I could live. People are so caring and helpful. If I need to see a physio, they make sure it happens. They are so good at looking after my health and daily living.

The Mayflower Reservoir staff are caring for our mother during the most challenging time in her life. As siblings, we could not have asked for a better place for our mother to be comfortable, looked after and staff so caring for her needs. All the staff are exceptional and are special which makes as siblings feel at ease that our mother is in a safe place. Special thanks goes out to all nursing staff and carers. Thank you

You are all so obliging and generous with your time. Always going above the call of duty and doing extra tasks for me.

Both my husband and I can't thank enough all managers, nurses, carers and everyone contributing at Mayflower for the quality service provided to our mums. From day one all our hopes and expectations have been consistently met and exceeded. This gives us a great deal of comfort knowing that our loved ones are in good, caring and dedicated hands.
