Puppets Come to Life at Mayflower Reservoir

Recently, a very special bear puppet visited Mayflower Reservoir – with some lovely results.

Pictured below is Giuseppina, connecting with this very friendly bear puppet from Puppets Alive and his puppeteer friend, Stephen.

Interactions like these are not only fun and heart-warming, but they can also have a very similar therapeutic effect to pet therapy - combating feelings of loneliness and boredom. Physiological results such as a reduced heart rate and blood pressure during the interaction can also be felt.
