Celebrating the Resilience of Older Persons in a Changing World
Each year on October 1st, we stop to take a moment to love and appreciate the older people of our changing world.
And, this year's theme is about celebrating the “Resilience of Older Persons in a Changing World.”
We are applauding all the older people in our communities, for their fearlessness over the past few years.
We loved seeing them take the pandemic in their stride - thinking of others, such as their loved ones before themselves.
And, we love how many learnt how to use tablets and smartphones, so they could still connect face-to-face with their loved ones.
Older people may be some of the most vulnerable people in our community, but they are also the most resilient.
