We are now looking for enthusiastic and caring Environmental Services Assistants to join our team at Mayflower Brighton, to help keep our homes clean and safe, assist with laundry and other general services tasks, and offer a friendly smile along the way.

Mayflower Brighton is situated among beautiful, lush gardens in the bayside suburb of Brighton East. This bright modern aged care home has first class facilities and a vibrant team culture, with employees dedicated to providing the very best in care and lifestyle choices.

About the role

  • Casual positions are available at our Brighton Aged Care Home.
  • As an Environmental Services Assistant, you will contribute to maintaining the cleanliness of the home and resident rooms, as well as assisting with in house laundry and general services tasks.
  • Working in a team environment, you will ensure all residents are provided with a safe and fresh environment where cleaning quality standards are met at all times.

The successful candidate will have:

  • An understanding of older people and their needs.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Knowledge and the ability to undertake environmental tasks.
  • The ability to work with limited supervision whilst being an effective team member.
  • High level communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to obtain a satisfactory police record check (aged care or vulnerable people specific)
